A high profile posh gambling den was raided by police in Ahmedabad’s Sola area on Sunday. It was Ahmedabad city police that raided the den. Local police station was dubiously nonperforming.

When police raided, the activity of gambling was going on in farm house, located at some distance away from Ahmedabad’s S.G.Highway. More than 80 gamblers fled away from hidden escape at backside, but their cars are seized by police. About 70 persons are arrested. Farm house owner Maulik Patel has been arrested. But the Directors of Law Garden gymkhana Dinesh Kalgi and Mahendra Mukhi are absconding. CCTV cameras were fixed smartly outside the den to notice any movement of police.

One person nabbed from gambling den was Maninagar Police station constable. The farm houses between S.G.Highway and Sardar patel ring road are known for all bad activities, including sex, liquor and gamble.
