Gujarat Assembly Speaker Ashok Bhatt is now free from Ventilator support since 1.00 pm on Tuesday.
According to doctors, Bhatt could breath without any problem after ventilator support was removed.
A decision to make Bhatt ventilator free was taken after functioning of his lungs improved significantly.
However, doctors say Bhatt’s both kidney are yet not functioning normally, and until and unless, they start functioning smoothly again, he will be still considered as critical.
Bhatt’s health is so improved on Wednesday that he opens his eyes, responds well, and his heart and lung functions are normal. According to dr. Nitin Shah, his kidneys are improving, and if such improvement continues, he will be able to walk in two days.
Bhatt has been admitted in Ahmedabad’s SAL hospital since Saturday morning. He underwent Angioplasty, after his heart almost stopped working. Chief Minster Narendra Modi has visited Bhatt twice in hospital. He is being informed about updates on Bhatt’s health regularly by doctors. Doctors have decided to release medical bulletin daily at 9.00 am.
Gujarat assembly session is scheduled on 6-7 September which Bhatt is not likely to be able to attend.
