Ahmedabad’s 9-year-old girl Kidnapped, released

Dhruva, a 9-year-old school girl and daughter of Ahmedabad’s builder was rescued from kidnappers after day-long drama. The father of the girl paid Rs.85 lakh cash to the kidnappers to free hid daughter. Kidnappers left most of the money and their car, but were successful to escape. Police is in search of them.
Dhruva, the student of Swastik school in Ahmedabad was kidnapped from a school van carrying her near S.G.Highway today early in the morning. The kidnappers wanted Rs.2 crore in exchange of release of Dhruva, but under police’s guidance, Dhruva’s father Manishbhai Patel kept on bargaining and ultimately an amount of Rs.85 lakh was fixed.
Accordingly, Rs.85 lakh were paid to kidnappers near Express highway, few kilometers away from Anand. As soon as Dhruva was released, the Police came into action and followed Scorpio car of kidnappers. Then there was a filmy scene on roads. However at one point of time kidnappers left their Scorpio car and amount of about Rs. 83.5 lakh near Petlad and fled away. Kidnappers kept more than Rs. 1 lakh with them.
Police is in search of kidnappers. Dhruva is bravely supporting the cops by giving inputs. Ahmedabad Police Crime branch and Anand Police worked jointly to ensure Dhruva’s safe release.
