Parthiv Patel replaces Sachin Tendulkar, to leave for South Africa
Ahmedabad, 16 January, 2011

Wicket keeper and batsman Parthiv Patel will be replacing Sachin Tendulkar in Indian cricket team for India-South Africa one-day cricket series. Sachin has sustained an injury and he will not be playing the next three matches.
Sachin is the fourth Indian cricketer to return home due to injury following the exit of openers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, and pacer Praveen Kumar.
Parthiv has played 16 ODI in his career with total 241 runs that includes two half century. His performance in rcent India-New Zealand one-day series was shining.
Parthiv will leave for South Africa today.
