Papa’s one slap kept Irfan Patah away from intoxicants for life

“When my father found me chewing sweet supari in my childhood, he slapped me with so long lasting effect that I have never been attracted towards intoxicating things in all forms since then” – Vadodara based Indian cricket star Irfan Pathan said yesterday in event organized by Narcotics Control Bureau at Ahmedabad’s NCC ground, on the occasion of International Anti Drugs Day yesterday.
“During the IPL tournament, I had to wear a T-shirt with specific brand’s logo to which I was uncomfortable. I asked the organizers to remove it from my t-shirt and they acted positively,” Pathan further told the youngsters.
