Vadaj-Delhi darwaja BRTS corridor is now functional

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation run Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) service has been extended upto Delhi Darwaja(Tavdipura circle). The new corridor was inaugurated today.
A new 4.5 km long new corridor is now covering Ranip cross road, Ramapir tekra, Juna Vadaj, Dadhichi river bridge, Dusheshwar, Government Litho press, Tavdipura circle(Delhi Darwaja) route.
It should be mentioned that the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has not permitted BRTS elevated corridor construction on Delhi Darwaja-Prem Darwaja-Kalupur railway station route.
The AMC has set up six new BRTS stands for this extended corridor. Initially 8 non-AC buses have been put on this route.
