GSRTC hikes ST buses fare by 10.69%

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) today announced hike in fare by 10.69% due to increase in diesel, CNG and spare parts prices.
GSRTC’s press statement said that due to increased costs of operation about 15% hike was necessary but the government permitted fare hike of only 10.69%.
Hike is in range of 1-2 Rs in local buses, Rs 2-6 in express services, Rs 1-7 in Gurjar nagari buses, Rs 1-9 in luxury coaches and Re 1 in urban services in 1-10 kms range.
