Minister of State for Industries and Mines, Mr Saurabh Patel today announced that the Vibrant Gujarat 2013 Summit will have a mega Exhibition spreading across 1 lakh sq. mtrs. This exhibition will be in an open ground, under a super-structure, and with fully air-conditioned domes. This world-class infrastructure will see for first time in India the use of a multi-level/ two-storied exhibition super structure and will also have for the first time a live agricultural exhibition in the Agro Pavilion.

Speaking at the announcement in Gandhinagar, Minister Mr Patel said, “At every Vibrant Gujarat Summit, we aim to showcase the best possible opportunities on one platform not only from Gujarat but from around the country and the globe. Our ambition of getting bigger and better with every summit is known to the world. With the 2013 summit, this exhibition will bring us even greater acclaim for the world’s first 100,000 sq. m. exhibition to be organized in an open ground, under super structure, with fully air-conditioned domes. Efforts have already started to rope in participation from technologically advanced countries such as Japan, Germany, France, Canada and the Netherlands. Minimum of 20% of the area is kept reserved for international participation. We invite participants from all over the world to share this vibrant platform with us in January next year.”

The exhibition organized as part of the Vibrant Gujarat 2003 Summit was in 3000 sq. mt area and had majority of exhibitors from Gujarat. In last ten years, the exhibition has grown ten folds and now has variety of participant profile. The 2013 mega-exhibition will have 10 Exclusive Pavilions covering 25 business sectors with over 10,000 stalls showcasing over 250,000 products on display. ”
