The meeting to pass such resolution was held in presence of city police commissioner Shri Rakesh Asthana.
On this occasion Shri Mathurbhai Savani, President of Saurashtra Jaldhara Trust said that it is true that it is difficult to end our old custom at one go, but at the same time, to end nuisance on public roads that such activities cause is also important.
Supporting the resolution, businessman Govindbhai Dholakia said that the roads are nowadays more crowded, and traffic has also increased significantly in recent years, in view of this, it is a timely decision taken by the community members. Shri Kanjibhai Bhalala also supported the resolution and said that whenever any revolutionary step is taken, hurdles are bound to come, but Patidar community will unitedly follow the resolution.
