Ten trains diverted after goods train derail near Viramgam

Ahmedabad, 15 January 2012
At least ten trains connecting Saurasthra to Ahmedabad and further south were diverted to Mehsana route today after for wagons of Pipavav bound goods train derailed in railway yard near Raiyapur railway crossing some distance away from Viramgam.
According to Ahmedabad based spokesperson of Western Railway, all trains diverted to Mehsana would reach their destinations three-four hours behind schedule.
