Former Gujarat Chief Minister and Congress leader Shankersinh Vaghela today compared bollywood film star and Gujarat Tourism brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan with an old Ambassador car.

Vaghela while speaking to media persons in Surat today said, “we never knew that Ambassador (car) gives average(millage) of BMW and costs like a Charter plane.”

It should be mentioned that Tourism minister of Gujarat recently in a reply to Congress MLA’s question in assembly said that the state government spent Rs 97 lakh during film star Shri Amitabh Bachchan’s shooting while he was in Gujarat for Khushboo Gujarat Ki promotional campaign. While Bachchan didn’t charge a penny, the expenses were made to host him.
