Kutch to get a railway coach manufactoring factory:Minister

Gujarat’s Kutch district will get a railway coach manufacturing factory, central minister of railway Shri Dinesh Trivedi announced today in his railway budget speech in Lok Sabha.
“Keeping in view the increased requirement of passenger coaches, a rail coach factory at Palakkad with the support of
Government of Kerala is proposed to be set up. Similarly, two additional new manufacturing units for coaches are also proposed to be established in the Kutch area in Gujarat and at Kolar in Karnataka, the latter with the active participation of the state government,” the minister said.
Shri Trivedi is originally from Kutch where he fought Lok Sabha election in past but lost. Later he fought an election from West Bengal, won and became union minister.
