Digambar Jains thank Modi, idol theif on 12-day remand

Prominent members of Digambar Jain samaj today called on Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi, minister of state for Home Shri Prafulbhai Patel and senior officers of Gujarat police to thank them for recovery of a stolen ancient idol of Chakreshwari.
Accroding to release issued by Shri Digambar Jain Samaj Sangathan, trustees of Umata Digambar Jain Mandir, and prominent members of Digambar Jain community, Shri Chakreshwari mata’s murti will be installed at Umata Jain Mandir on 1st of April 2012 Ram Navami divas at 2.00 pm.
Meanwhile Chhapansingh, from whom the stolen idol was recovered by police has been sent to 12-day remand by Visnagar court.
