BJP MLA files police case against Modhwadia,journalists,TV channel

Jethabhai Bharwad, BJP MLA from Shehra assembly seat has on filed police criminal complaint under section 500(punishment for defamation) against Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia , three political journalists and one TV channel on April 4. Bharwad has filed the complaint also under section 66(illegally accessing computer data) of the Information ad Technology Act.
According to sources, the three vernacular daily reporters booked are; Janak Purohit(Gujarat Samachar), Vivek Oza(Sandesh) and Janardan(Divya Bhaskar), while one TV channel it TV9 Gujarati.
The complaint was filed with the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class of Shehra, MA Sheikh. The magistrate has ordered Godhra DySP to carry out inquiry into the matter, and file a report within a month.
It should be mentioned here that thre vernacular journalists had filed story claiming that BJP MLAs Shankar Chaudhary were surfing obscene pictures, pornographic pictures, porn video clip in their iPad. However Forensic Science Laboratory, after going into the data of iPad arrived cleared the MLAs.
