Son of Gujarat Congress Secretary arrested in CNG scam

Vicky Oswal, son of Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) state Secretary Mahendra Oswal was arrested today in Surat for his alleged role in Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) CNG gas scam worth Rs 15,14,218.
Oswal owns CNG pump in Surat where ST buses used to come to fill up gas.
Last year it was found that between June 2012 and July 2011, actuall quantity of gas filled up in buses was lesser than what was shown in reciepts.
GSRTC had filed police complaint in this regard against the CNG gas station owned by Oswal in August last year.
Police initially carried out search for Mahendra Oswal but he was untraced. Later Mahendra Oswal had received anticipatory bail.
