Modi discusses Security Services with senior cops from 15 states

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today that multidisciplinary approach at the state’s unique Raksha Shakti, Forensic Science and National Law Universities make their pass-outs highly employable for variety of jobs.
Briefing senior police officers from 15 states about Security Services in Gujarat, he said these varsities teach subjects and impart training in various skills fit for variety of professions. The faculties of these universities are in constant touch with one another and have earned name in a very short period since inception.
Mr. Modi said that an atmosphere of peace and development prevailed in Gujarat for the last decade as the police force also adapted a new work culture befitting the changing world. The aim is to take the academics in these varsities to world class.
He said that several universities are also taking keen interest in Gujarat’s specialized universities, for their and quality of training and exploring areas of mutual cooperation.

Referring to National Security Council’s suggestion, Mr. Modi said that 200 women police officers from North Eastern States would by rotation serve Gujarat on two years’ deputation.
Those present on the occasion included Raksha Shakti University Director-General and Chief Minister’s Additional Principal Secretary.
Mr.Vikas Sahay made a presentation on Research and Development in Raksha Shakti University.
