Gujarat MPs meet Chidambaram on Gujarati language issue

A group of MPs from Gujarat today called on central Home minister P.Chidambaram demanding that the procedure and documents of the Gujarat High Court should be published in Gujarati language.
A group of Gujarat MPs asked the Home minister that Gujarat assembly had unanimously passed a resolution on 23 March last year for the same.
The MPs informed central minister that the Secretary of Governor house in Gujarat had sent a proposal in this connection on 13 May 2011 to central Home ministry, but no step has been taken in this regard yet.
Home minister P.Chidambaram promised Gujarat MPs for speedy action in this matter.
