Junagadh district collector has imposed total ban on seashore bath at Somnath.

Somnath seashore is dangerous for tourists to venture. In past there have been number of incidents of loss of life at Somnath sea shore due to powerful waves of Arabian sea.

Couple of days before four students drowned in Somnath sea. Three of them were rescued, while one succumbed to death.
