It seems, in Gujarat prohibition(on liquor) has triggered off innovations.
You heard the news of liquor trafficking through special kinds of jackets. You heard liquor transportation through oil tankers and through boats. Once upon a time you also heard liquor distribution network through pipeline, but here is something more interesting.
Having received a specific input, Police team raided a wind mill in Kutch, Gujarat and seized foreign liquor worth Rs 40,000 stored inside allegedly by local security supervisor and guard.
The wind mill according to police was operating as liquor shop, or say beer bar, which was surprising for many.
According to Mahipatsinh Jadeja of Kothara Police, the raid was conducted on 24 May at 5.30 pm in Suzlon company’s wind mill no. M-127 near Suthari village of Kutch district.
As many as 34 bottles of foreign liquor and 284 tins of beer were found from inside the wind mill.
Suzlon’s guard Rajdipsinh Sarvaiya, and security supervisor Hakumatsinh Chavda fled from the wind mill area.
