“Gujarat is safest, we are leaving it because our parents are worried” (Video)

Around two thousand youths from North East today left Gujarat in Okha Dwarka Gauhati train from Vadodara railway station at around 11.45 pm on Friday.
Leaders of BJP including local Member of parliament were present at the railway station. The BJP leaders assured total safety of north east people in Gujarat and requested them not to leave the state. To this the North East youths replied that they feel completely safe in Gujarat, and they were leaving the state only because their parents back home were worrying about them and wanting them to come back as earliest as possible.
“We are totally safe in Gujarat, and Gujarat is the safest place in the country for us, but our parents have no idea about Gujarat, for them Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka everything is same. As they are worried and in shock due to rumors, we are unable to communicate them over phone properly that we are safe in Gujarat, therefore we need to move from here and first meet our parents back at home. Once we convince them, stay with them, and once they come out from shock we would return here,” said Dorji, a youth who works in private company in south Gujarat.
“As other youths from different parts of the country are returning back to my village in Assam, my parents too want me to come back immediately. There’s no safety issue here, but others are returning so me too doing same,” said a student from Assam who didn’t want to be identified.
At Vadodara railway station, large number of RSS workers were present. They distributed food packets among the north east citizens. ABVP workers and MS University leaders were also present on the railway station.
According to one of the north east youths, they had all gathered here from all over Gujarat. A decision to leave the state in same train was made through SMS and phone calls.

I feel pain at the exodus of north-east Indians from various places of India. They have genuine reason to fear. The central government says it will take actions against rumour mongers. Well the centre and state governments should have acted firmly and caught the killers of innocents in Assam which they did not.

This is the most shameful moment for every individual and the saddest moments for the Nation where their own nationals (Especially students and youth) cannot live anywhere other than their own home state. What kind a society are we in 21st century? How could we be an intolerant and un-human towards our own people? Where exactly are we heading?.

No one can deny that what happened in 2002, including burning of train followed by riots, was unfortunate, painful, and regrettable. Enough has been written about it. Question is, shall we continue living in the past or move on? I am originally from Ahmedabad and I can never forget that one of my best friends and his entire family was burnt alive in their house during riots in early 1990s. Let’s not forget that irrespective of Hindus or Muslims, everyone has suffered during riots. It is a high time we move on and start behaving sensibly. Today the situation we are into, we have no option but to live together. And believe me the only way to do that is through economic prosperity and following “live and let live”.

THIS IS ATROCIOUS. ABOUT 30,000 PEOPLE FROM NORTH EAST LEAVING 4 OR 5 STATES & GOING BACK THINKING ASSAM & N.EAST IS SAFE. BJP /RSS ,VHP ETC SHLD GO TO THE ROOTS & RAISE THE ISSUE VERY STRONGLY IN PARLIAMENT, & TAKE VERY STRICT ACTION AGAINST OFFENDERS, & INSTIGATORS.
THIS ALL STARTED WITH THE GANG WHICH CAME BY TRAIN FROM KURLA TO AZAD MAIDAN & STARTED ALL THIS., EVEN THOUGH MUMBAI POLICE DID VERY GOOD JOB.
WHY NOT BJP FLY AT THEIR COST 3 TO 4 FAMILIES ELDERS FROM NORTH EAST TO GUJARAT & BANGALORE & LET THEM SEE FOR THEMSELVES. ALL THESE YOUNGSTERS BOTH MEN & WOMEN ARE EARNING MONEY FOR MANY YRS IN JOBS SINCE THEY HAVE NO EMPLOYMENT OPPURTUNITY IN NORTH EAST.

This is shameful for us Indians. We envisaged an India where any Indian is free to go, free to study, free to work without any fear. But see what they have done. Illegal infiltration from across the border from Bangladesh is the root cause which resulted in demographic changes in the border districts of Assam. The unscrupulous, short sighted power hungry politicians treated these illegal infiltrators as vote bank and did not take any action which snow balled into a confrontation between the local Indian citizens and illegal FOREIGN infiltrators.
Did they act firmly when over 50000 people congregated at Azad Maidan and indulged in rioting when more policemen sustained injuries than the rioters. And now protesters indulged in violence in Lucknow, Allahabad etc., They are rioting for Burmese Muslims and Bangladeshi illegal infiltrators. The unfortunate part is that the so called secularists ( The Gujarat riot cottage industrialists)are conspicuously absent with their sanctimony. They have made secularism a joke.

Rumour mongering is now taking its toll. These innocent people have lost faith in the administration. It is the duty of the authorities to deal with the rioters, rumour mongers, infiltrators etc., with firm hand. But alas, we have got an impotent government at the centre who is always worried about the vote bank before taking any action.
It is time Congress left it dirty vote bank politics and ensured safety and security to the INDIAN CITIZENS in India.

If the infiltration resulted in demographic changes in the border disctricts of assam, the same is applicable to Indians where any Indian is free to go, free to study, free to work without any fear, within india it is resulting the same demographic changes, in foreign countries also. For example mumbai industrialists are from gujarathis marwaris labours from other states, gujarat industires have all labours from other states, 50%keralites living outside their states, the creation of states based on the language is to have betterment of the states for the betterment of their people. We should have uniform development of whole india so that the state people can stay back in their states nearer to their family and relatives so that they can easily involve in festivals and cultural get together rather than stay at a long place in unhygenic places, the slums are created by these indians and cyclically leads to many corruptions and malpractics.
Nobody should fear in Modi’s Gujarat.Ever since Modi took over the reigns of Gujrat,peace has prevailed in the state. Everyone, irrespective of his / her caste/religion, region etc is safe in Modi’s Gujarat.Only those who are antinational have no place in Modi’s Gujarat.The people of NE should remember that Gujarat is ruled by a lion who lives in the hearts of 60 million Gujaratis.Eveyone is equal to him and he gives opportunity to everyone to thrive.
Congress seems happy at this exodus. They are just following old orders of their masters to breakup India which was stopped by Vallabhbhai Patel after independence. Any Hindu voting for congress is voting for a traitor party.

There are a good number of NE Indians residing there, the ones I have met have been from Assam but I’m sure other states are also represented. They are good people, hard working and not into criminal or illegal activity at all. We welcome them to work, stay, and live in Gujarat. Anybody who harasses or harms NE Indians in Gujarat – we will break their heads.
