Come Friday and New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center at Raritan Center in New Jersey, USA will come alive with ‘Gujarat, Gujarati & Gujaratism’ – the main theme of the third World Gujarati Conference ‘Chaalo Gujarat’ being organized by Association of Indian American in North America (AIANA) from August 31 to September 2, 2012.

Thousands of Gujaratis from all over the world is expected to attend the conference over three day. The major attraction of the first day will be a spectacular multi-media show on “Soneru Surat, Khamirvantu Kheda & Vaibhavi Vadodara and a quiz program anchored by Chirag and Dhwanit. Renowned saint Shri Moraribapu will give a divine start to the program thorough Tridivasiy Katha on ‘Gujarat’.

On the second day, Sharman Joshi & Prachi Desai will enthrall the audience with their stage performances. Apart from that, ‘Miss Gujarat USA’, a fashion show and multimedia show on “Dhanya Dhara Saurashtra & ‘Kutch Gathaa’ will also be major attraction of the day. ‘Patel Rap’ by Devang Patel, multimedia show on “Colors of Gujarat” and ‘Kavi Sammalan of Gujarati poets’ will be the major event of the concluding days. Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will also address the conference on day two.

Giving details of the event, President of New Jersy based AIANA, Sunil Nayak said “Raritan Expo Centre in New Jersey is chosen as the venue, where as many as 45,000 Gujaratis are expected from all over the world to attend the 3-day extravaganza. The highlight of the three day conference includes- Trade Show, Celebrity performances by Sharman Joshi & Prachi Desai, Quiz competition by quiz master Dhwanit, Seminars & Conferences, Kavi Sammelan, Multimedia shows, International Property Show & Laser Show.”

The predominant allurement of the event is going to be the gate, which will be replica of the famous ‘Rudramala gate’ of Siddhpur, at 30 feet height. A unique platform where spiritual wordings of Sri Morari Bapu will uplift us, and at the same time fashion show and Miss Gujarat USA will be enlightening and entertaining. A three dimensional film on Gujarat will also be screened. Amidst the Raas-Garba session, Gujarati Patriotic medley and Lok Sangeet Dayro, the palatable Gujarati cuisines are not to be missed.

The World Gujarati Conference has chosen the ‘Pol Culture’ as their crux identity this year. Clone of life sized pols to be displayed in the event. The theme colors of Chaalo Gujarat: Pink, Yellow & Blue, will be displayed by an Empire State Building dome. A Nasdaq bell is to be rung by the AIANA members on 31st August to honour this conference.
