Khel Mahakumbh torch to reach every district of Gujarat

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will flag off the Khel Mahakumbh 2012-13 torch run from Gandhinagar town hall. Minister of Youth and Cultural affairs Shri Ramanlal Vora will be the Chief Guest of the function.
As many as 20.83 lakh sports lovers have registered for participation in Khel Mahakumbh.
The torch run will first go to north Gujarat’s Sabarkantha-Himmatnagar, and later visit Banaskantha, Kutch-Bhuj and various districts of Saurashtra.
The torch of Khel Mahakumbh 2012-13 will reach Surat on 17 January through Vadodara.
During the 18-day journey, the torch will pass through all districts of Gujarat.
Khel Mahakumbh 2012-13 will kick off in Surat on 18 January. The biggest sports festival of Gujarat will continue till 13 February.
