Setback for Congress party in Halvad

Congress ruled Halvad Municipality’s Chief Manishaben Malik has resigned from Congress party and has joined the BJP with another Congress man Ashvinbhai Malik. This is major setback for Congress party here, as the election of Halvad Municipality is scheduled to take place on 10th of February. Halvad is an important town of Surendranagar district in Saurashtra region.
