Narendra Modi to open Gujarat Travel Mart 2013

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate Gujarat Travel Mart on Monday, 1st April 2013 in Gandhinagar. Shri Modi’s inaugural speech in this function will be available online live through webcast.
Gujarat Travel Mart through a B2B exchange will be a showcase of stimulating travel, tourism, hospitality, leisure and other related industries, both from the country and outside.
Leading tour operators from over 32 countries will participate in this event which is supported by major trave-trade and hospitality association in India such as ADTOI, ATOAI and IATO among others.
Over 200 registered buyers from over 30 countries will explore business opportunities for discerning travel tourism product in this event.
The exclusive pavilion of Gujarat in this event shall showcase the different facets of Gujarat such as festivals of Gujarat, its beaches, the land of the Mahatma: Mahatma Gandhi oriented tours, Heritage Hotels, Buddhist Trails in Gujarat, wildlife Resorts and National Parks, Medical Tourism, Destination Management Companies, Travel Agents and Tour Operators, Religious Tourism, Handicrafts, Cultural Vistas, etc
The Buyer Program at the last year’s edition of ‘Gujarat Travel Mart’ had for the first time in the country a refundable caution deposit system for all buyers to enhance the seriousness of the event. The amount is refundable on the successful completion of the mandatory seller appointments.
