Announcement of Narendra Modi’s speech was already made in BJP’s public meeting in Goa today, but Shri Rajnath Singh who was sitting next to Shri Narendra Modi stood up and choose to speak first. Usually party president delivers concluding speech, but Rajnath choose to speak first, and humble he gave a reason in the beginning of his speech.

Rajnath said, in democracy, whoever is popular is leader. Rajnath said, “I have been Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, I was minister twice in union govt, I was party president too earlier. I feel happy today because whatever I have done, I have done that not only for the party, but for nation.”

Rajnath said, “Shri Arun Jaitley congratulated me for my decision, but why I should be congratulated? Actually the party workers should be congratulated. It was a call of justice that this decision should be taken.”

“The nation is in trouble. You(the people, party workers) can save it. We have given a leadership which enjoys trust and honor not only on domestic turf but also internationally.”
