ACB in Gujarat nabs 2 including Assistant TDO for taking bribe

Songadh:The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed two including an Assistant Taluka Development Officer (TDO) from taluka panchayat office premises in Songadh in Tapi district taking bribe for making necessary changes in documents for sale of a land plot.

Assistant Director of ACB, D P Chudasma today said Assistant TDO Mohamed Javed Y Pathan and his junior clerk B V Ladumor have been nabbed during a trap. The clerk had already taken Rs 10000/- from the complainant whose friend was to sale the land plot. He had then demanded Rs 15000/- more for the official. The clerk was nabbed red handed today and later the Assistant TDO was also caught.

The complainant had first met the Assistant TDO who had sent him to the clerk.
