PM Modi Speaks to Gujarat CM, Reviews Rescue Efforts After Ahmedabad Plane Crash

Ahmedabad: In the wake of the tragic Air India plane crash near Ahmedabad airport, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to review the ongoing rescue and relief operations.
Giving information about the call, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi, in a post on X, said, “PM Shri Narendra Modi ji has spoken to Hon’ble CM Shri Bhupendra Patel ji to take note of the ongoing rescue operations and provide necessary guidance to ensure swift and effective relief efforts.”
The crash, involving Air India flight AI171 en route to London, occurred shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport and resulted in widespread damage and casualties.
