With superb dedication, hard work and skill, Ahmedabad Fire Brigade Rescued 10 people from the rubble of four storied Hotel Shakunt’s collapsed building in the first week of February, 2008: Mayuri Modi, Bhurabhai Patel, Ranjitsingh Govindsingh, T Ponraman, Motilal Meena, Deepsingh Shivsingh, Navneet Bhuralal, Ranjan Mukherji, Sunita Momin and Mansoor Lakhani, were the victims whom AFB rescued. All these victims are back to their life now, thanks to God up in the sky and Ahmedabad Fire Brigade down on the earth. Bravo chaps !!

Ahmedabad Fire Brigade’s Shakunt Hotel rescue mission was widely appreciated by authorities and the team was awarded with boxes of sweets from Municipal Corporation. AFB has done marvelous work in 2002’s earthquake, Surat flood and countless incidents of fire and calamities across the state of Gujarat. AFB responds to the calls not only when human life or property is in danger but also when somebody gives SOS call for animals and birds in danger too.
