16 Congress MLAs Suspended from Gujarat Assembly

Congress MLAs today burnt copies of interim budget presented by Finance Minister Vajubhai Vala for vote on account siting the reason that there was no provision for unemployed youths, diamond workers and the common people.
Meanwhile in another development Gujarat Assembly today passed a resolution moved by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Amit Shah to suspend 16 congress MLAs till the end of the session for disrupting the Governor’s address on the first day of the budget session by shouting slogans and demonstrating placards inside the house.
Suspended Congress MLAs are Anil Joshiara, Ashwin Kotwal, Amit Chavda, Brijrajsingh Jadeja, Chandrikaben Bariya, Gyasuddin Sheikh, Jodhaji Thakor, Khumansinh Chauhan, Punabhai Gamit, Paranjadityasinh Parmar, Raghvji Patel, Ramsinh Parmar and Niranjan Patel.
Earlier during the question hour Congress MLAs had walked out from the Assembly.
