Shri Narayan Desai’s Gandhi Katha is a big draw in Gandhinagar these days. This is 75th Gandhi Katha by Shri Narayan Desai, son of Mahadevbhai Desai. Shri Narayan Desai started a concept of Gandhi Katha some years back.

Gandhikatha starts at 8:30 am everyday with Gandhian bhajans in Gandhinagar town hall. Then Shri Narayan Desai starts his talk on Gandhi’s life and thoughts for almost three hours. A jam packed auditaurium listens to Narayan Desai from start to end. Five-day katha is completed its third day on Tuesday.

Ex Chief Minister Suresh Mehta, Ex Home Minister Mahendra Trivedi, children from Kadi serva vidhyalaya and around fifty policemen are regular visitors to Gandhi katha.
