Modi warns anti-Gujarat forces to stop defaming Gujarat
Dehgam, DeshGujarat, 14 September, 2009
Chief Minister Narendra Modi, buoyed by the victory in assembly bypolls, today hit out at the “anti-Gujarat forces”, warning them to stop “defaming” the people of the state.
“I would like to warn anti-Gujarat forces who are determined to defame the people of the state. Enough is enough, they should respect the people of Gujarat and not rub salt on their wounds,” Modi said.
The BJP leader was addressing a ‘Vijay rally’ in Dehgam, one of the seats won by his party today.
“Stop defaming the good people of Gujarat for your personal reasons. I have no weapon. My only power is 5.5 crore people of Gujarat,” Modi said.
“There is no place for conspiracy in democracy. You would not be able to take us out from the heart of the people.
