After 18 swine flu related deaths, Surat gets h1n1 test facility

After as many as 18 swine flu related deaths, for the people of Surat who get panicky at the thought of getting swine flu and not knowing it till it may get too late, there is some good news.
The state health department has started a laboratory for h1n1 test at new civil hospital here.
After Ahmedabad’s BJ medical college, this is the second laboratory for h1n1 virus related tests.
Earlier it took two to three days for h1n1 test report to come, because there was only one laboratory for h1n1 test in Ahmedabad. Now Surat has got its own laboratory. This means the report would take just some hours.
State Health Secretary Ravi Saxena visited the worst swine flu affected city of the state on Saturday to supervise the facilities.
