Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today met ex-Chief Minister and BJP leader Shri Keshubhai Patel at his residence in Gandhinagar. State BJP President Purushottam Rupala was also present in this meeting.

State information department release says Modi met Keshubhai to seek his blessings before rejoining the Secretariat office after Diwali.

In another event, about 50 prominent persons of Dawoodi Bohra community from various parts of the state led by Sajjad Hira offered Gujarati new year greetings to the Chief Minister in Gandhinagar. They also conveyed well wishes from their religious leader Saiyadna Saheb to the Chief Minister.
