Sunni-Tablighi clash:12 Muslims injured in Vadodara

At least twelve Muslims were injured and nine of them were hospitalized in Sayaji hospital after Sunni-Tablighi clash occurred in Vadodara’s Padra area on Thursday.
According to police, Tablighi and Sunni – two sects of Muslim community clashed over a dispute about Ijtema convention of Tablighi Jamat that was organized in Vadu village this weekend.
Padra area’s Govindpura police chowki was ransacked by Sunni Muslims after police protected a Tablighi jamat loading rickshaw driver Mehbub Mansuri to save him from Sunni crowd on rampage.
According to DySP S.P.Damor, a complaint has been lodged by Mehbub Mansuri against rioting crowd of 150 Sunni Muslims.
Those injured and hospitalized are: Anas Ali Patel, Shakil Suleman Mansuri, Mohammad Suleman Mansuri, Mubarak Rasul Mansuri, Tosif Abdul Mansuri, Tofic Salim Mansuri, Sabir Hussain Mohammad Mansuri and Yunus Mohammad Hakim.
Meanwhile, police officials have decided not to give permission of organizing Ijtema in Vadu. In Padra taluka, Sunni community forms 90% Muslim population while Tablighis are just 10%. Earlier Tablighi jamat had organized similar convention in Padra taluka’s Bhadari village but Sunni Muslims in Aanti village, just two km away from Bhadari had opposed this convention. Police therefore had denied permission to Bhadari convention.

If you look at the laws of the land, anyone can hold a gethering, unless there is a curfew. They do not need to form some percentage of a community. However, it seems Sunnis are over-accommodated here. The police decision to deny the convention is really unfortunate as it reinforces the bad behavior.

LAHORE: A gathering of religious scholars, mostly from the Barelvi school of thought, held on Sunday to mark the chehlum of Dr Sarfraz Naeemi demanded surprise raids on all seminaries and a ban on their funding from abroad.
‘Surprise raids should be conducted on all seminaries, whether large or small, being run by all schools of thought (to recover arms stockpiled there and to arrest terrorists hiding there),’ said a resolution adopted at the gathering.
It also called for a probe into foreign funding of seminaries and a law to ban direct financing.
Through another resolution, the scholars called for an effective ban on leaders and workers of proscribed outfits from working under the cover of new names and banners. They also demanded cancellation of declarations of papers and journals published by such groups.
Earlier, the event witnessed a somewhat ugly incident when Pir Afzal Qadri, a leader of Barelvi group, accused Jamaat-i-Islami leaders attending the event of supporting the Taliban and opposing the army operation in Swat. He said the party was also against the creation of Pakistan.
However, organisers of the event removed Mr Qadri from the podium by force.
Later, some JI leaders claimed that their party had always condemned terrorism, killing of innocent people and desecration of Shia and Barelvi graves.
They praised timely intervention by organisers to foil what they called a conspiracy aimed at sowing disunity among Muslims.

Barelwi are following BAIDATH throughout world , they are not ready to leave that. While tablighi are real muslaim- real followers of prophet muhammad (SAW). tablighi are daily telling them to leave the these baidath, but barelwi is not ready to accept. so clashes occured.
so solution is the one brelwi must follow the real islam what Muhammad (SAW) bring.
Tablighi Jamaat should be banned world wide they are terrorism hub, they recurite simple minded mulsim and make them terrorist. We should banned all activities of wahabis and deobandis. May Allah guide them to true islam. Ameen. which is Sunni barelvi islam. Ameen.

alhamdullilah it is the karam of allah tht there is still people left in this world who love prophet more than their life that is what true faith is and real sunnism . sunnism is not wandering from here to there leaving their family alone without any man looking after their children .
There is no such as bareilvi,when muslims started opposing wahabi terrorism,they started calling them barelvi. So word should not be used.
