The Year 2010 has started with many positive potentials and indications.

The very first day of the New Year gave us a glimpse of the heart of the Democracy which rekindled the hope for all who have faith in the Democracy. It is a Historical event that all the former and the sitting representatives of the people, Members of the Parliament. Members of the Legislative Assembly belonging to all the Political Parties, unanimously and with single voice resolved at the Golden Jubilee Conference held at Gujarat Legislative Assembly.

I had the opportunity to see the Movie ‘Paa’ in theatre amidst my hectic schedule. I am really thankful to Shri Amitabh Bachchanjee for inviting and accompanying me in the show.

Neither I am a Film Critic nor an expert in the field of entertainment. I enjoyed the film ‘Paa’ emotionally as an ordinary viewer.

“Paa” is having a storyline which drenches your heart with emotions and imparts directional indications which are really helpful to the society at large. It surely pleases one to see a movie which completely lacks violence and obscenity. It takes real moral courage these days to portray Politics and the Politicians as Good. For this, one has to swim against the flow instead of flowing with it. Expression of Such moral courage can be seen in the Film ‘Paa’.

I have met Amitjee earlier but this was the first instance of being with him at leisure.

Below are two lines from my Poem :-

“It is my Soul that Loves my Gujarat, But it is my God that Loves my India.”

You must guess how much it must have touched my heart, knowing that Amitjee loves Gujarat so much.

The words and the gestures of Amitjee truly expressed his desire of serving Gujarat. The joy that he has praised Gujarat in unique. He publicly expressed his goodwill for me. Inspiratiuonal love expressed from such a senior dignitary like him fills me up with strength of making my efforts stronger.

I want you to share the pleasant memoirs of the respect expressed by Shri Harivanshrai Bachchan for Shri Sardar Patel :-

यही प्रसिद्ध लोह का पुरुष प्रबल,

यही प्रसिद्ध शक्ति की शीला अटल,

हिसा इसे सका कभी न शत्रु दल,

पटेल पर स्वदेश को गुमान है.

सुबुद्धि उच्च श्रुंग पर किये जगह,

ह्रदय गंभीर है समुद्र की तरह,
