It’s official:Amitabh Bachchan is Gujarat’s brand ambassador

The Gujarat government on Monday announced officially Amitabh Bachchan as state’s brand-ambassador.
According to state information department release, Chief Minister Narendra Modi wrote a letter to Amitabh Bachchan approving his offer to become Gujarat’s brand ambassador and thanked Bachchan for the impression of Gujarat that he highlighted. In his reply Amitabh penned a letter to Chief Minister Narendra Modi on 26th January in which he gave his consent to become Gujarat’s brand ambassador and also mentioned “You have very graciously considered my appointment as brand ambassador for Gujarat. I accept this offer of yours with great humility. I hope we shall be able to work together for the betterment of Gujarat.”
The state government is planning to involve Amitabh Bachchan in promotion of Gujarat’s tourism sector.
