Gujarat’s first veterinary laboratory to come up near Gandhinagar

State’s first veterinary laboratory would be set up at Vasna village near Gandhinagar according to sources. Presently Gujarat has no such laboratory and sample are sent to Bhopal and Pune.
According to sources, the state-of-the-art laboratory at Vasna which is famous for it’s Vasaniya Mahadev Mandir will come up on 30 acre land at a cost of about Rs. 3 crore. The laboratory would be upgraded to national level laboratory in future. There will be a guest house too for visiting scientists and experts inside the laboratory campus. The construction work of proposed laboratory complex is expected to start in later part of this year.
