Gujarat’s CM Narendra Modi deserves this post.
This proves that NaMo (a proud Gujarati) is big hearted enough to put aside all politics even if his efforts are going to help another party UPA to overcome the crisis.
All the best and we have faith in your abilities, NaMo.
Jay Shree Raam!

modi should not take this offfer ! it will only destroy him – in 2012 he will not have anything to defend. If he is successful then Congress will benefit and if he is unsuccessful then he can’t blame congress. Congress has a WIN WIN here and Modi has Loose Loose – politically speaking

This is really clever by central govt. They can now easily shift the blame on Modi for being on the committee controlling food prices.

To Dharmesh
Let me tell you, you might be crook before you tell anyone else. If I listen to Modi day or night is not anyone’s business. All problems might not be solvable but if anyone can solve in India, it’s our CM Shree Narendrabhai Modi. At least he has thinking brain and not corrupted for his own gain. I have faith that atleast he will try his best. For issues like this he is not BJP or Congressi, he is Gujarati and Indian and he will do whatever he is able to do for country and poor. It’s not a matter of win or loose, at least everything possible will be done. My million prayers are with Namo to solve problem.

Good observation Nimish road to center is very difficult for modi. In 2012-13 cong will project Rahul as a pm

Nimesh Dixit’s view point is very narrow. If Modi is there in that position than it is good. He might be able to contribute something.
