A 13.50-km long new Bus Rapid Transit Service(BRTS) route from Narol to Naroda in Ahmedabad would be completed by middle of this year according to sources. Ongoing construction work of five over bridges on this route is expected to complete before that. Service on another BRTS route from Kankaria-Maninagar and Danilimda-Narol would also be operational before that.

It should be mentioned that under the first phase of BRTS project, 58-km routes passing through RTO-Chandra Nagar-Kankaria-Maninagar, Danilimda-Narol, Naroda-Narol, Vadaj-Delhi Darwaja, Kalupur-Saraspur, Amdupura-Naroda Patiya, Shahalam-Sarangpur, Sarangpur-Gomtipur and Rakhiyal-Soni ni chali would be covered.
