NY, U.S. based prominent non resident Gujarati Padmashri Dr. Sudhir Parikh on Tuesday called on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in CM office at Gandhinagar. Parikh received Padmashri award last week at Rashtrapati Bhawan in Delhi. This was his courtesy call to the Chief Minister. Dr. Parikh now controls Gujarat Times and some other NRIs related U.S. based publications that he acquired in recent past.

Mr. Parikh is here to do business and not social service. That is why he is developing rappo with Mr. Modi. So far as Padmashri is concerned looking at his face only i can tell he does not deserve it. What kind of service he has given to India,ZERO.
His thinking is that opening Gujarati News Paper has lot of market potential and hence he is coming down to Gujarat. Where was his love for Gujarat up till now, in U.S.A only, i believe.
