Sanjay Dutt meets Narendra Modi for film city project in Gujarat

Bollywood film star Sanjay Dutt called on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in state capital Gandhinagar on Monday with his Chicago based Gujarat friend Paresh Ghelani for film city project in Gujarat. Dutt and Ghelani arrived at 4.00 pm and spent an hour with the Chief Minister.

According to official state release, Sanjay Dutt wished Gujarat Chief Minister for Golden jubilee of statehood of Gujarat. Impressed with Gujarat’s development, Sanjay Dutt said India’s every corner should be developed like Gujarat. Dutt said Gujarat’s development and achievements are because of the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Modi. Gujarat’s progress is inspirational for whole country.

Sanjay Dutt and Paresh Gehelani had arrived to meet Gujarat Chief Minister with proposal to set up a film city project in Gujarat. Chief Minister Modi suggested that Gujarat’s Kutch district has everything needed for setting up a perfect film city project.

Sanjay Dutt watched a video on Gujarat’s development projects including the Sabarmati river front, Dholera special investment region, Kalpasar project, Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor etc.

Speaking with reporters outside the Chief Minister’s office, Sanjay Dutt said, “Paresh is my very good friend and like a family member. We came to meet Mr. Modi with proposal of setting up a film city in Gujarat. Mr. Modi has proposed to execute the film city project in Kutch, however our proposal is still just a proposal.”
