The government of Gujarat has appointed Industries and Mines department’s Secretary Shri A.S.Patel as new Commissioner of Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation and Shri G.A.Shah as new Collector of Porbandar district.

Vadodara based Gujarat Alkalies and Chemical Limited Managing Director Shri Guruprasad Mahapatra has been transferred to Ahmedabad as Commercial Tax Commissioner to relieve Mukesh Puri from additional charge. The appointment of GA Shah will relieve MV Joshi from additional charge. Appointment of A.S Patel will relieve DG Jhalavadia from additional charge.
