State Governor Dr. Kamla Beniwal has come in for severe criticism from BJP for her unilateral decision to appoint a Lokayukta. Describing her action as attack on democracy, the BJP raised question marks about her political impartiality. State BJP President RC Faldu said that the Governor’s move showed that the Raj Bhavan ( Gujarat Governor’s official residence) had once again become Congress Bhavan.
