The new U.S. Consulate in Mumbai opened today in Bandra-Kurla, and obviously the first family that received some of the first visas issued by America in this new facility was Gujarati family.
None other but Mumbai based U.S. Consul General Peter Haas himself welcomed first visa applicants Dr. Dinesh Patel and family at new facility in Mumbai.
Until now, over a million Gujaratis could have received their U.S. visa from Breach kandy based old U.S. visa office, but now onwards all those from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgadh and Goa wanting to get U.S. visa will have to go to new facility at Bandra-Kurla in Mumbai.
Patels and others, please note that down.
