Surat Police have arrested a lover who crossed international border to get his love, however the twist in this story is that the lover of intruder herself informed the police and managed his arrest.

This is the story of 22-year old Mohammad Jan-alam Mohammad Jalil Sheikh. He lives in Madhopapasa village of Kaliya thana in Nodail district of Bangladesh. Last year he crossed the India-Bangladesh border by paying a tout Rs 1300. From Kolkata he boarded a train and reached Surat via Mumbai. Here he started settling in Un area’s Saranagar slum. Mohammad started working as rag picker here.

Meanwhile he came into contact of 20-year old girl Sumi aka Mausami in Saranagar. Mohammad started dreaming about tying nuptial knot with Mausami, but last year the Special Operation Group of Surat Police arrested and sent him to jail for illegal staying in India.

For about one year, Mohammad stayed in jail. Last month the court ordered to deport Mohammad to Bangladesh. On 23 November, Surat’s Sachin Police traveled to Kolakata where Mohammad was handed over to India’s Border Security Force for deportation. But the story doesn’t end here.

Mohammad wanted to marry Mausami at any cost. When BSF released Mohammad across Bangladesh border, he just didn’t travel ahead to reach his native village, but in the dark hours of night, he returned back to India by crossing the international border again. He reached Surat again via Kolkata and straight away went to Saranagar to meet his love.

However he was shocked to see his lover actually dating some other guy. Mohammad started approaching Mausami, but Mausami was not interested. She informed police about Mohammad.

Police immediately rushed to the locality infamous for illegally settled Bangladeshis, and arrested Mohammad.

Mohammad has been produced in court and he is now on two-day remand.
