Jetpur observes complete strike, MLA, MP on roads(Video)

Saurashtra’s Jetpur town today observed one-day strike against notorious goons and local police that is according to them is inactive against goons. The strike was complete and total according to our correspondent.
Local BJP MLA Jasumatiben Korat and Congress MP Viththal Radadia, local traders, businessmen and common citizens were on roads in the morning to ensure success of the day-long strike.
On 31st December, some notorious drunk elements were on road in an open jeep harassing the women and locals in Dobaria vadi, Amarnagar road. When locals protested, they broke the streetlights and bikes. In reaction when local people targeted their jeep, the police came to rescue them. When locals pelted stones over police team, 48 of them were arrested.
According to locals, a bootlegger Anil Baraiya alias Dabli munno, Ajit TC Patel, Gaurang Joshi, Shailesh Dhobi and 8 other persons responsible for attacking locals on 31st December night are fearless, thanks to local police’s inaction.
Protesting against the arrest of 48 people for attacking the police, today the town of Jetpur observed complete bandh. A video presented above throws more light on this.
