Glimpses of Gujarat Forest Department’s operation to cage a leopard from inside the house (Video)

The video presented above shows glimpses of Gujarat Forest Department’s operation to trap a leopard which was inside the house.
The place is Valod town of Tapi, where a leopard entered into the house of Navinbhai Govindbhai Chaudhary today morning to eat Navinbhai’s chickens. Navinbhai saw this from distance, and quickly rushed and closed all both the doors of his house. Navinbhai informed the village Sarpanch, other villagers and the Forest department about this.
A team of Forest department led by Sub DFO Purohit and Vyara RFO IR Rabari with local Police Inspector Salim Sheikh arrived here with their staff members.
A trap was arranged by putting cage with a chicken inside. After a four-hour-long operation, the leopard was successfully lured to enter inside the cage.
According to Sub DFO Satinsh Purohit, this female leopard is about 2.5 year old, having 2 ft height.
