Pair of world’s tallest bird arrives at Gujarat’s largest zoo

Junagadh’s Sakkarbaug zoo has received pairs of Nilgiri Langur(monkey) and Ostrich under the animal exchange programme from Chennai’s Arignar Anna zoo in exchange of two pairs of wild asses(Ghudkhar which is found only in little Rann of Kutch). Ostrich is world’s tallest bird. The new arrivals were opened for visitors yesterday, 18 days after they were brought here.
