A newer kind of problem in Narmada water (Video)

The Sardar Sarovar Nigam is dealing with a newer kind of problem at Narmada water. The problem is caused by water based wild plant that grows rapidly over the surface of water body. This variety of flora, known as ‘Jalkumbhi’ is nearly impossible to remove completely. It’s like a ‘Gando baval’ of water which spreads too much, and nearly impossible to remove. This plant absorb too much water and thus adversely impacts the water storage.
