Gandhinagar, 30 May 2012

Former Chief Minister Suresh Mehta, former central minister Kashiram Rana, former Mayor of Surat Fakirbhai Chauhan, former minister of state for Home and MahaGujarat Janata Party’s founder president Gordhanbhai Zadafia, and veteran RSS pracharak Damleji, former MLA Siddharth Parmar, KD Jeswani today reached Shri Keshubhai Patel’s residence in Gandhinagar to discuss the strategy for Gujarat assembly election 2012.

According to sources, the primary agenda of the meeting is that Mr Gordhan Zadafia wants Keshubhai and Kashmiram Rana to leave BJP and join his MahaGujarat Janata Party. Zadafia believes that if Keshubhai and Kashirambhai become part of MJP and come out openly in full force, MJP can become a decisive player( and may be a winner) on dozen or more seats.

The meeting at Keshubhai’s bungalow (K12) according to sources has following agendas of discussion:

-Should Kashiram Rana leave BJP and join MJP or not
-If Keshubhai is not ready to leave BJP, how much more role he should play and how
-Till now Keshubhai has been speaking about ‘bhay’ (fear), now what next?
-How Koli leader and Gujarat minister Purushottam Solanki can be convinced to join back the Keshubhai brigade
-Eventually can there be NCP like seat arrangement with Congress in assembly poll
-What should be the map of next major conventions? May be a grand gathering on Keshubhai’s birthday
-Which are the ministers or MLAs likely to revolt against the Modi govt between now and the election season
-What are Pravinbhai Togadia’s inputs and guidance
-How to get maximum benefit of Modi’s opponents within the BJP and in Congress
-On issues that can be taken up to attract the voters, on direction of campaign
